CE marking certifies<\/strong> a state. It says nothing about what happens afterwards. Six months after installation, someone bypasses a safety function (guard, interlock, barrier) to reduce machine downtime.<\/p>\n

The following month<\/strong>, a fault prevents complete energy discharge: a contactor sticks closed, a valve fails to release, a residual pressure or energy remains where it should not.<\/p>\n

Fifteen months later<\/strong>, a progressive degradation of the stopping dynamics (for example, a lengthening deceleration) increases the time between activation of the protective device and the actual machine stop, without ever triggering an alarm.<\/p>\n
