file"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Technical File is the collection of<strong> documents that <\/strong>demonstrate the<strong> machine\u2019s compliance <\/strong>with <strong>the Essential Safety Requirements<\/strong> (ESR) <strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This documents allows the market surveillance appointed authorities to easily checl the conformity of the machinery considered.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The responsibility for preparing the technical file lies with <strong>the manufacturer<\/strong> <strong>of the machine<\/strong>.<br\/>If the machine is imported from a <strong>country outside the EU<\/strong>\u2014where the manufacturer is not required to prepare the technical file\u2014this responsibility falls to<strong>the importer<\/strong> or the <strong>authorized representative.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It must be drafted in <strong>one<\/strong> or <strong>more languages of the European Community<\/strong> and must be <strong>made available to the<\/strong> competent <strong>authorities<\/strong> of the member states for at least 10 years following its publication or drafting.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DOCUMENTATION IN THE TECHNICAL FILE<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As defined in Annex VII of the Machinery Directive 2006\/42\/EC, the <strong>Technical File consists <\/strong>of the following documents:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General Description<\/strong> of the Machine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>overall design<\/strong> of the machine, control circuit <strong>diagrams<\/strong>, as well as the related descriptions and explanations necessary to understand how the machine <strong>operates<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>detailed<\/strong> and complete <strong>drawings<\/strong>, accompanied, where applicable, by calculation notes, test results, and certificates; this information must make it possible to verify the machine\u2019s compliance with the essential health and safety requirements,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>documentation related to <strong>the risk assessment<\/strong> that must demonstrate the procedure followed, including:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>List of Essential Safety and Health <strong>Requirements<\/strong> Applicable to the Machine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>protective measures<\/strong> implemented to eliminate identified hazards or to reduce risks; if necessary, an indication of any residual risks associated with the machine<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>standards<\/strong> and other <strong>technical specifications<\/strong> applied that specify the essential health and safety requirements covered by those standards,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any <strong>technical report<\/strong> providing the results of tests conducted by the manufacturer itself or by a body selected by the manufacturer or its authorized representative,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a copy of the machine&#8217;s <strong>instructions<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if applicable, the <strong>declaration of incorporation<\/strong> for the included partly completed machinery and the related assembly instructions,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if applicable, a copy of <strong>the EC Declaration<\/strong> of Conformity for the machinery or other <strong>products incorporated<\/strong> into the machinery,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a copy of the <strong>EC Declaration of
