file"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Technical File<\/strong>\u00a0is the\u00a0<strong>set of documentation<\/strong>\u00a0which demonstrate the\u00a0<strong>conformity<\/strong>\u00a0of the machinery to the E.S.R.<strong>\u00a0essential standard requirements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>This documents allows the market surveillance appointed authorities to easily checl the conformity of the machinery considered.<\/p>\n\n<p>The obligation to compile a technical file applies to the\u00a0<strong>manufacturer<\/strong>.&#13;\n&#13;\nIf the machinery is imported from an\u00a0<strong>extra EC country<\/strong>, areas in which the manufacturer has no obligation to draft the file, this obligation is passed on to the\u00a0<strong>importer<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>agent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>The technical file must be compiled in\u00a0<strong>one or more official Community languages<\/strong>\u00a0and must be made available to the\u00a0<strong>competent authorities<\/strong>\u00a0of the Member States for at least 10 years following the date of manufacture of the machinery.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DOCUMENTATION IN THE TECHNICAL FILE<\/h2>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>As defined in annex VII of the machinery Directive2006\/42\/EC, the\u00a0<strong>technical file<\/strong>\u00a0comprises the following documentation:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a\u00a0<strong>general description<\/strong>\u00a0of the machinery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the\u00a0<strong>overall drawing<\/strong>\u00a0of the machinery and\u00a0<strong>drawings<\/strong>\u00a0of the control circuits, aswell as the pertinent descriptions and explanations necessary for understanding the\u00a0<strong>operation<\/strong>\u00a0of the machinery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>full detailed drawings<\/strong>, accompanied by any calculation notes, test results,certificates, etc., required to check the conformity of the machinery with the essential health and safety requirements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the documentation on\u00a0<strong>risk assessment<\/strong>\u00a0demonstrating the procedure followed, including:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a list of the essential health and safety\u00a0<strong>requirements<\/strong>\u00a0which apply to the machinery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the description of the\u00a0<strong>protective measures<\/strong>\u00a0implemented to eliminate identified hazards or to reduce risks and, when appropriate, the indication of the residual risks associated with the machinery<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the\u00a0<strong>standards<\/strong>\u00a0and other\u00a0<strong>technical specifications<\/strong>\u00a0used, indicating the essential health and safety requirements covered by these standards;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>any\u00a0<strong>technical report<\/strong>\u00a0giving the results of the tests carried out either by the manufacturer or by a body chosen by the manufacturer or his authorised representative;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a copy of the\u00a0<strong>instructions<\/strong>\u00a0for the machinery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>where appropriate, the\u00a0<strong>declaration of incorporation<\/strong>\u00a0for included partly completed machinery and the relevant assembly instructions for such machinery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>where appropriate, copies of the\u00a0<strong>EC declaration of conformity<\/strong>\u00a0of machinery or other\u00a0<strong>products incorporated<\/strong>\u00a0into the machinery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a copy of
