The CE Audit service aims to verify the conformity of the machinery with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and related current standards, as well as the New EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, which will enter into force in 2027.
It can be carried out before CE marking and the placing on the market or putting into service of a new machine, of a machine in use that has undergone substantial modifications, or the assembly of multiple machines.
The activity consists of a technical and documentary check aimed at verifying:
- The conformity of the machinery with the requirements of the Directive;
- The presence and correctness of the mandatory technical documentation (Technical File, EC Declaration of Conformity, Manual, etc.);
- Any non-conformities according to the EN ISO 12100 standard;
- The correct application of harmonized standards;
- The correct affixing of the CE marking.
