Access control systems compliant with ISO 13849
Access's solutions for the achievement of ISO 13849 performance levels appliable to locks and locking systems

Access's door locking systems have been designed to reach the performance level (PLr) required in the risk assessment as described in the ISO 13849 standards ( Parts of the control systems connected to safety- Part 1: general design principles) which integrate the designing concepts and principles typically applied to machinery guard system access points.

Access has developed a number of solutions to solve the most common applications by providing standardized systems which match Euchner components to the mechanics of its own well tried and tested locks.

In case of emergency, all locking systems can be opened manually from the inside and are equipped with special housings for personal padlocks which prevent accidental door closing, which in turn may cause the machinery to re-start even with the presence of operators within the danger area.

The locking system is assembled with anti-tampering fttings to prevent human interference related to interlocking tampering.
All locking systems are packaged in special kits and come with certification and assembly and maintenance instructions.

PLe Cat. 4 SIL 3 Euchner CES
Door locking control system fitted with Euchner CES transponder multicode safety switch, certified dual-channel PLe. This system does not need mechanic activators and it is particularly suitable for frequent door openings, as in the food industry or where up to 20 switches need to be connected in series still maintaining the required performance level qualities and where mechanic blocks are not needed. This system can be fitted to all types of doors.

PLe Cat. 4 SIL 3 Euchner MGB
Complete door lock system with an interlocking device based on Euchner MGB nodel with transponder philosophy and mechanical interlock. This system is fitted with two press buttons which can be connected according to needs, emergency stop button, inner release handle and housings for personal padlocks. This system is particularly suitable in situations where maximum performance levels need to be reached through the implementation of a flexible control system which manages both the mechanic and electronic activators thanks to a wide variety of settings. This system can be fitted to all types of doors.

PLd Cat. 3 SIL 2 Euchner GP1
Locking system which integrates Acess' Clo.Sys locks and Euchner GP1 interlock with key-activator. The implementation of Clo.Sys locks allows for the guided entry of the activator, hence preventing possible cam-sensor damages therefore guaranteeing a PLd safety level even if using a single interlocking device. This is a practical and inexpensive solution which applies to a great number of situations where door retention is not needed. This system can be fitted to all types of hinged doors.

PLd Cat. 3 SIL 2 Euchner TP3
This lock system integrates Access Clo.Sys key lock and Euchner TP3 interlocking device with key-activator and mechanic retention, and emergency release device from the inside to prevent trapping. The implementation of Clo.Sys locks allows for the guided entry of the activator, hence preventing possible cam-sensor damages therefore guaranteeing a PLd safety level even if using a single interlocking device. This solution can be applied in those cases where access points need to be fitted with a mechanic interlocking device. This system can be fitted to all types of hinged doors.
